【健康醫療網／記者曾正豪報導】年僅2歲的陳小妹妹，在家突然持續作嘔，家人將其帶至附近急診，照了X光後發現一又圓又亮的異物。急診醫師判斷，應該是誤吞硬幣卡在食道裡。因需可以執行兒童胃鏡的醫師及設備，輾轉送往萬芳醫院急診室，經由醫療團隊緊急拿出「不速之客」後，小妹妹現已返家休養。

硬幣是誤吞之冠 恐掉入腸胃道

萬芳醫院兒童急診醫學暨兒童胃腸科劉喆瑩醫師表示，嬰孩童吞入異物在兒童急診屢見不鮮，常發生在6個月至6歲前的嬰幼童。這個年齡的嬰幼童，常常在大人不注意之下，自己玩著玩著就把隨手可得的小物品吞下去了。硬幣位居嬰幼兒誤吞異物之冠，其他還有雞骨頭、小玩具、小飾品、鈕扣電池及磁鐵等。

雖然大部分的胃腸道異物，尤其是硬幣，誤食後大多會慢慢往下走，最後隨著排泄物一起排出，鮮少造成後遺症。但當異物卡在食道下不去且出現如流口水不止、吞嚥困難等症狀時，通常需要盡快用胃鏡取出，以免危害嬰幼兒的生命安全。

幼童誤食小物品 造成生命危險

劉喆瑩醫師表示，這枚硬幣卡得不深，整個執行胃鏡的過程不到五分鐘就取出了。主要是嬰幼兒執行胃鏡取異物通常需要進行全身麻醉以及適當的設備，前置作業往往最耗時。陳小妹妹最後在全身麻醉的狀況下，順利以胃鏡取出硬幣，留院觀察無後遺症後，也順利返家，結束了這將近半天的驚魂記。

劉喆瑩醫師也提醒，嬰幼童誤吞異物以預防為先，家長平時就要教育孩子不要將小物品放在嘴裡玩，家中如有尖銳物、磁鐵、鈕扣電池等危險物品時，更應妥善收藏，避免嬰幼童誤食造成胃腸道穿孔等後遺症。而當懷疑孩童誤食異物時，切勿在家自行處理，如設法挖取或催吐，防止異物誤入氣管造成窒息，應即時至就近醫院急診由醫師評估處理。
