保加利亞人也使用十二生肖．他們的十二生肖排列順序與我們的完全一樣．唯一不同的一點是他們沒有虎，以豹代之．此點與哈薩克的十二生肖相同．哈薩克的十二生肖也是有豹無虎．這可能是因為虎乃叢林動物，而中亞只有草原而無叢林，有豹無虎，故以豹代虎．
