美國小朋友最愛的鬼節 Halloween 既將在下星期三來臨，芭芭辣教學生用蘋果做勞作，小朋友在滿室果香的教室中歡喜的捧著自己的老巫婆。
製作如下：
1. 將中號蘋果削皮備用，在底部小心(極易破裂)插入冰棒棍並可寫上自己的名字 for identity。
2. 用粗鉛筆挖眼鼻及口，記得要夠深夠大，否則進烤箱 bake 蘋果眼鼻全擠在一塊了。
3. 用最小文火 250 度烤上一天半載，此時蘋果汁會流出來很messy 但芳香四溢 (記得烤前要鋪妥錫紙以維護烤箱清潔，並要經常轉頭換邊烤)，今年我用火過高(350度)變成黑巫婆啦！
4. 從烤箱取出後放在小酒瓶(beer bottle) 內風乾至少三四天。
5. 用 color marker 在眼鼻口處塗點顏色。
6. 將粗毛線分線( break the yarn into three parts or so) 做成蓬頭亂髮以長大頭針(別胸花那種)釘在蘋果頭上。
7. 最後製做巫婆的黑披風, 手(黑指甲)，腰帶，掃把，及尖巫婆帽。
8. Viola, c'est fini!

Dear Barbara:
I was wondering why you did not have the new diary on the website. Now I now you got the ticket and need to take the class on the website. My husband also got a ticket two months ago and will go to UPS to take the test this Saturday. What a coincidence!
I just checked the website of the CBEST and found that I passed the reading and math section which I have taken on 10/6 . I did not take the writing section because short of time. However, if I took the writing section, I would not be able to pass it. It is the most difficult part to me. Can you give me some hints to pass it? I am reading newspapers and trying to write a essay everyday if I could make it.

I used to put those apples in my school's oven. Since the cooks leave the pilot on day and night. It worked perfectly. Now we have a mean cook who won't let us go near her territory. So I took apples home to bake. I baked for four hours at least. Remember to air dry for 3 or 4 days. It's very easy to make. 芭芭辣 於 2007/10/25 06:39回覆
