Jack's mother ran into the bedroom when she heard him scream and found his two-year old sister pulling his hair. She said comfortingly to Jack, "She didn't mean it. She doesn't know that hurts."

傑克的母親聽到他尖叫，趕緊衝到臥房，看到兩歲的妹妹拉著他的頭髮。母親安慰傑克說：「她不是故意的。她不知道這樣會痛。」

She was barely out of the room when the little girl screamed. Rushing back in, she asked, "What happened?"

母親剛離開房間，就聽到妹妹哭叫，跑回房間問：「怎麼了？」

"She knows now," Jack replied.
