How do you verify whether your Topdon Artidiag800 BT 2 scanner has bidirectional diagnostic functionality?

For earlier devices:

Earlier AD800 BT2 has two versions:

Version 1: Lifetime Free update version. This version DOES NOT support bidirectional function.

Version 2: 2-year free update version. This one has bidirectional function.

For newer device from September 2026:

Topdon announced that Topdon AD800BT2 has been upgraded from a 2‑year plan to lifetime free upgrades.

The newer lifetime-free-update version does support bidirectional function.

Both the earlier 2-year upgrade version and the latest permanent upgrade version we sell support bidirectional diagnostic functionality. If you are not certain, please provide us with the device serial number so we can confirm. Serial numbers with 12 digits do not support this feature, whereas those with 14 digits do.
