Is it true on the Topdon ONE series that Topology mapping will quit working if you don’t pay the renewal fee i thought probably the new car years but topology too?
Yes.
Once the TOPDON ONE software subscription expires, advanced online features such as the Topology Map will no longer be available. However, the offline diagnostic functions will still work.
This is standard on many modern tools. The subscription is required for most premium features on Autel, launch, TopDon, etc. this is because of the ongoing costs to build and maintain the software. All modern tools are this way.
