這是加拿大詩人歌手 Leonard Cohen 的名曲，今年冬奧開幕由加拿大女歌手 K. D. Lang 在開幕典禮獻唱。

歌詞用了一些聖經典故: 偷看美女人妻洗澡的國王，後來成了第三者; 大力士被偷剪頭髮以後失了神力。

看起來好像是描寫信仰與宗教，其實訴說的是人與人之間的感情，信任，背叛與報復。
