極端高溫、暴雨頻發…避暑旅遊成趨勢 全球旅客瘋「追涼」
udn報導記者甘芝萁／台北報導 過去七、八月是全球旅遊業傳統旺季，但近年極端高溫、熱浪、野火及暴雨頻繁，旅客開始改變出遊時間，將原本集中暑假的假期延後至九、十月，甚至十一月，全球旅遊旺季正在悄悄「換季」。
今年全球高溫再創紀錄，美國國家海洋暨大氣總署分析指出，今年八月為有紀錄以來最熱的八月。歐洲旅遊熱點更直接受到衝擊，西班牙今年六至八月熱浪累計達六十一天，創下一九六一年有紀錄以來最高的夏季均溫，地中海及大西洋沿岸海溫也創新高。
高溫、乾旱及野火頻繁發生，從北歐到法國、西班牙、義大利、希臘等地都受到影響。 日本同樣面臨高溫與極端天氣。日本氣象廳資料顯示，今年日本氣溫及攝氏四十度以上「酷暑日」均創新高，降雨也呈現劇烈波動，颱風、豪雨等天候更增加旅遊行程的不確定性。
但旅客並沒有因此停止旅行，而是「換時間」。全球頂級豪華與體驗式旅遊顧問聯盟Virtuoso指，過去兩年秋季前往歐洲傳統夏季熱門目的地的旅遊量已增逾一倍；法國蔚藍海岸秋季訂位增加一百七十九％、希臘群島超過一百三十％、義大利普利亞也增加七十八％。
歐洲旅遊委員會最新報告也顯示，今年九月等過去被視為「平季」的旅遊預訂量增加，顯示旅遊需求正由暑期集中旺季，逐步分散至全年不同月份。
「避暑旅遊」成為新興概念，旅客刻意選擇較涼爽的季節或目的地度假。過去夏季熱門的南歐、地中海海灘，現在旅客反而轉向北歐、冰島等地「追涼」。

But you couldve heard a pin drop when Tommy stopped and locked the door

He wasnt holding nothing back, he let em have it all
When Tommy left the bar room, not a Gatlin boy was standing
He said, "This ones for Becky", as he watched the last one fall
And I heard him say
