振鷺于飛 一群白鷺展翅飛翔
于彼西雝 停泊在那西邊水旁
我客戾止 此時我們賓客已經來訪
亦有斯容 他們儀容整齊又有威望
在彼無惡 居住國內無人敢出惡言
在此無斁 來到朝廷時也没人討厭
庶幾夙夜 日日夜夜一樣討人喜歡
以永終譽 他們美好聲譽永受稱讚

A flock of egrets are flying with full wings
Then by the side of the river they land
Arrived are our special guests at this moment
Their appearance looks tidy and prominent
No one speaks dirty words to them in their home state
Nor does one dislike them in the imperial court
They are so welcomed by the people day and night
As usual their fine reputation deserves compliments
〈振鷺〉是〈詩經．周頌〉的第13首，是周王祭天祀祖時，夏商二王的後代前來助祭，史官記下了當時的情景。
