Thanksgiving is also informally known as Turkey Day. It is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving is a holiday to express thankfulness, gratitude, and appreciation to family and friends for which all have been blessed of material possessions and relationships. In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the 4^th Thursday of November. In Canada, it falls on the 2^nd Monday in October.
