Chinese Tamale 粽子 is a traditional Chinese food, made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. They are cooked by steaming or boiling. The shape of zongzi ranges from being relatively tetrahedral in southern Chinese to cylindrical in northern Chinese. The fillings used for zongzi vary from region to region, but the rice used is always glutinous rice (also called sticky or sweet rice). Some fillings that are inside the zongzi may include: mung beans, red bean paste, jujubes, chinese barbecue pork, chinese sausage, salted pork, chinese black mushrooms, salted duck eggs, cooked peanuts, dried shrimp and much more. Zongzi are often called "Chinese tamales" because they are wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves and thus resemble Western tamales.

Also, no peanuts and MSG, please.

These are really harmful for your health. I can't take MSG anymore, make me headache and after I have to take Aleve to release the pain! It is not worthy.
