▲ Jiang Muya sits by the bar counter, drinking alone in gloom. Three slick-looking playboys approach her.
Man A: “Hey, beauty, won’t you be bored being alone?”
Muya: “Let me alone! I want to be quiet by myself.”
Man B: “Miss, don’t ignore us. If you come here to have fun, you’ve got to loosen up. Get her a cocktail.”
Bartender: “Alright, coming right up.”
▲ The bartender prepares a drink and places it on the counter.
▲ Man B, using his fingers, secretly flicks white powder into the drink with his ring finger, then signals the other two men with his eyes.

Man B: “Miss, let us help you walk.”
Muya (pointing): “Don’t touch me. You men are all no good!”
Man A: “Heh! This girl won’t yield to soft or hard tactics.”
▲ Man A gives a signal; the three men tacitly surround her, supporting her from both sides and forcibly carrying her along.
Muya (waving her arms): “Let go of me with your dirty hands!”
▲ At this moment, Renjie drives past and sees this scene through the car window.
Renjie (OS): “Why does that woman look so much like Muya…?”
▲ Renjie reverses the car and indeed finds Muya being held by the three men, about to be pushed into a nearby sedan. Renjie touches the surgical knife in the back pocket of his trousers, casually grabs the car lock bar from under the passenger seat, opens the door, gets out, and walks toward the three men.

Muya (pointing): “Renjie, it’s you! These three bad guys want to take me away.”
Man A: “Kid, I advise you to mind your own business.”
▲ Renjie points at the three men with one hand, signaling them to let go.
Man B: “What? On our turf, you still want to play the hero and save the beauty?”
Man C: “Stop talking nonsense. Grab the weapons.”
▲ Seeing the situation turn bad, Renjie decides to strike first. He swings a heavy blow at Man A. The man raises his hand to block, but his arm is struck by the car lock bar and instantly broken. Man A clutches his arm, bending over in pain. Man B kicks the lock bar out of Renjie’s hand and moves in close. Renjie pulls out the surgical knife from his back pocket, concealing it in his palm. Man B throws a punch, hitting Renjie’s cheek. Enduring the pain, Renjie slashes back, cutting Man B’s arm before he can withdraw. Blood gushes out, and Man B grabs his wound and retreats.
▲ Renjie pulls Muya and runs toward the car. Man C chases after them with an aluminum rod. Renjie opens the car door, pushes Muya inside, then turns and throws the surgical knife toward Man C’s lower body. Man C screams as the knife lodges into his thigh and stops. Seizing the moment, Renjie jumps into the still-running car, shuts the door, and speeds away.
