台北市長柯文哲7月15日轉移陣地拜訪姐妹市「首爾」，傍晚也特別會見首爾市長朴元淳。由於兩人都是從素人投身政治，也讓兩人隔外投緣，還決定讓雙方城市的市民，有旅遊互惠的新策略。

台北市長柯文哲：「其實我們兩個選舉的背景滿像的，兩個都是所謂在野大聯盟獲勝的，所以當然要從那個地方開始講起，對那個促進觀光，雙方也留下一些建議，他說很簡單啊！以後我們就是到對方國家去訪、去旅遊，比如說:博物館的門票可能半價，我邀請他說，拜託你下次出國，拜託到台北來訪問，我們可以有比較長的時間，我請你吃飯可以慢慢談。」

2位市長會面時，柯文哲也當面邀請朴元淳來台北走一走。由於首爾公宅已經多達20萬戶，柯P也希望派市府員工到首爾進行3個月的訓練。他同時也參觀了市政廳，吸取綠建築經驗，打算借鏡到北市府大樓上。（民視新聞綜合報導）
