Definition: to severely damage or destroy a vehicle or building
Ex: The town has been wrecked by the bombing.



2. Crouch (v.) /kraʊtʃ/
Definition: to move your body close to the ground by bending your knees and leaning forward slightly
Ex: She crouched down and reached out to the little boy.



3. Sumptuous (adj.) /ˈsʌmptʃuəs/
Definition: impressive, expensive, and of high quality
Ex: Last weekend, my dad and I attended a sumptuous feast for my cousin’s weeding.

Definition: a small square of soft absorbent material, such as linen, silk, or soft paper, carried and used to wipe the nose, etc.

Definition: a woodwind instrument, the smallest member of the flute family, lying an octave above that of the flute
Ex: A piccolo hung in the cold air above the harp's icefloe; a three-note motif weaved in and out through the murk.

Definition: a combination of substances, especially ones that are harmful when used together

Definition: big, beautiful, or impressive in a calm and serious way
Ex: Jay is a man of majestic appearance and great dignity.
