今天唸書配台北爵士夜時，雖然已經知道這半小時有Billie Holiday，可是放這首The End of Love的幕後製作過程，最後Lady Day清唱的部分時，還是嚇了我一大跳：

雖然不是很完美的聲音，但卻是會讓人忍不住停下手上工作，仔細聽她在傾訴什麼的聲音啊！

主持人說，這張1958年灌錄的Lady in Satin，是Lady Day自認最滿意的作品。隔年7月，她就因為肝硬化過世，銀行裡只有0.75美金。

後來把Lady in Satin翻出來聽了一遍，有點懂即使聲音不是年輕時的清澈嘹亮，但為什麼Lady Day最滿意這張專輯。
