May I nominate one of my favourite clothes manufacturers? Villervalla is a Swedish company, and while their clothes are not cheap, they DO take a beating. Unfortunately, the site is all in Swedish so you’ll have to take my word for it that the categories are divided by garment type, but you can judge the pictures for yourself, and their front page reads: “Vår tanke är att kunna erbjuda dig som kund färgglada och prisvärda kläder av hög kvalité som passar både tjej och kille.” Which, roughly, means: Our intention is to provide you as a customer with colourful and value-for-money clothes of high quality that suit both girls and boys.

If they did adult sizes I’d be first in line. The lass has a handful of their clothes and they rock my world.

I notice they now also have a selection of ecological cotton (“ekologiskt”).
