賞雪詩過涼夏

American imagist poetess Elinor Wylie (七) 

 

   

       溽暑讀雪景詩如涼扇在握，適時搧出清涼意。

〈絲絨鞋〉這首詩是我讀過最美的現代主義意象詩，充滿超自然的光燦

和能量。主題表達了自然的美、愛和冬天。詩中的敘述者要其同伴(他或

她)以寧靜和平的步伐，同其走入雪天白世界，欣賞自然景物的絕美

境界。其用一種迷人的語氣邀請其同伴，穿著絲絨鞋走入深雪境地，

無聲地踩著細雪，   踩著寂靜。

「絲絨鞋」是女詩人詩藝的一項設計，鮮明地點出人物的臨在感，而非

現實的人。但它代表舒適、暖心和詩意的意象，因涉及在雪中行走所需

的溫暖穿套，

絲絨鞋

讓我們走入白雪

          

走入無聲的空間

用寧靜的步伐

        

慢慢地，悄悄地

         

在白蕾絲的面紗底下走

……

我們要穿上絲絨鞋走

          

無論走到哪裡

寂靜會像雪露落在

         

底下白色的寂靜上

        

我們要在雪中走

美國詩雜誌編輯根據她的詩說: 「女性…她們寫作是根據衝動，想到甚麼，立刻就寫…她們在本性上，道德觀念遠比男人要強；同時她們天性對溫柔，美麗和絢爛的事物的偏愛和敏感，使她們在寫作時忘卻用批評約束自己。…Elinor Wylie缺乏偉大作品的耐久和吸引力，因她缺乏第一流詩歌的分量。」

Elinor Wylie is one of the members of

Imagist Poetry Movement during 1920-

30in New York. 

 

Her poetic art is very similar with that

of Amy Lowell and H.D.(imagist

poetesses) 

And they all are distict in their using

precise imagery, direct language

and personal appealing. Yet, Wylie,

after all, has a pretty reputation as

critic calling, "the queen of  poets".
