Lizardmen V.S. Chaos Knights

Planning:
After suffering defeats from the first encounter against

Andrew's knights, I have given some thoughts on what wnet

wrong that day. even though Andrew is a newbie and I wasn't,

but I failed to beat him make the whole matter worse.

I was quite careless in the deployment phase, I spread out my

troops quite evenly and without a firm purpose on how to take

on his army.

Secondly, I thow away my skinks quite carelessly too, most of

them died without serving their rightful purpose. with my

skirmish screen vapourizing rapidly and my main combat force

not acting effeciently, my downfall was certain.

This time I have made a decent army list and a major

improvement on my tactics, each unit has been given a

tactical role to perform on the battlefield, my skinks are

mostly scouts, they will be deployed the behind enemy

lines,giving Andrew's knights a hard time with their poisoned

shortbow,this makes the skinks a little expensive but its

well worth the cost.

My main battle line consists of two unit of four kroxigors

and a stegadon,their job is to pin the enemy with their hard

hitting ability and high toughness.

I got my self a flying unit of terradons to contest the air

space and hopfully offer some asistance to my ground units.

Salamenders are a major factor, with their nasty flames and

decent combat ability, they form a formidible auxiliry arm.

Finally, with four skinks priest as my hero choices,I will

give my opponent a good beating during the magic phase.

Above are all the theories, as weither the army list works,we

shill see on the field.

The Battle:

Suprisingly I was facing a Chaos infantry army, Andrew has

only one unit of knights(Khorn & Chosen),well,thats even

better for me.

My skinks scout start with a good round of shooting, the only

annoying part of my shooting phase is that my salamenders

keeps on eating away the skinks, however thay had performed

nicely during the game and survived.

Although my shooting goes pretty well,but my combat phase was

really disappointing, my hard hitting Kroxigors and stegaddon

just got flattened by chaos chosen knights in one bloody

turn!

never the less, when the smoke clears on the battlefield,My

lizards emerge as winners, eventhough I only won the game by

a fraction but its a good victory. It has restored my

confidence in the army. Rock the Fuck on!! lizardmen.
