最近觀賞了一部DVD，
它是百老匯著名的音樂舞台劇──Into the Woods；
聽說一九八七年時，便已於紐約的戲院上演這一齣
有關夢想、童話、冒險、巨人的舞台劇。
這齣舞台劇的編劇叫史蒂芬‧桑坦，他重塑格林童話裡的四個著名故事，
有趣幽默的歌詞、詼諧輕鬆的音樂，加上大明星的魅力，
讓此部音樂舞台劇締造極亮眼的票房成績。
Once upon a time........這是一般童話故事裡常出現的開場白，
「Into the Woods」自然也不能免俗，
「Once upon a time........」劇中的說書人一出場便這麼說。
「拜訪森林」總共分上下兩幕，片長還滿長的，
第一幕走輕鬆、詼諧風，每個人都實現願望，獲得自己想要的東西；
第二幕則較沉重，願望實現之後的沉重壓力便伴隨而來。
當「王子與公主結婚之後，便過著幸福快樂的日子」的童話般的夢想，
在現實生活裡真的可能嗎？
編劇將各個主角的內心世界完整呈現在觀眾眼前──
灰姑娘變成皇后後，雖過著豪華般的生活，
但深宮內苑的生活，令她懷念從前；
而王子改不了「獵豔」的習性，經常不在宮內......
麵包師傅夫婦倆如願的喜獲麟兒，
但在尿布、奶瓶的洗禮下，爭吵不斷......
巨人的出現，將人性軟弱、自私的一面引出來，
不安、惶恐、互相指責的結果，讓森林裡大亂......
(咦！看到這裡，您可能產生疑慮，傑克與魔豆裡的巨人不是摔死了嗎？
呵呵~原來是巨人的老婆來復仇了)
尾聲，大家同心協力的打敗巨人，並準備重整家園，
巫婆帶領大家齊唱「Children will listen」做為本劇Ending，
也引出本劇所要表達的重心──
「當心你說的故事，孩子聽得懂的；
當心你的言行舉止，孩子會看也會學；
在你開口道：「請聽我說之前」，
務必當心孩子聽得懂的！」
一齣很好看的音樂劇DVD，推薦給大家~
