Three Virtues  三德

The three virtues or powers

(1)、 恩德 The merit of his compassion. Of his universal grace and salvation, which 利他 bestows the benefits he has acquired on others.

(2)、 斷德 The merit of severing affliction. Of his cutting off all illusion and perfecting of supreme nirva^n!a; the above two are 自利 for his own advantage.

(3)、 智德 The merit of his wisdom. The potency of his perfect knowledge.

三德 (恩德、智德、斷德。)

(一)恩德是佛的慈悲廣大，誓度一切眾生，無黨無偏，三界六道眾生，猶如赤子，是為恩德，有緣莫不蒙度。

(二)斷德亦名解脫。是佛將一切的煩惱斷除，清淨無為，解脫自在。

(三)智即智慧，智德是佛的平等智慧深廣，無所不知，無所不見，照了一切諸法，圓融無礙，號稱一切智人。
