Short history: In the second semester of the 2012 year as part of our course work for the subject of “English Reading and Writing”. Our teacher Ven. Zhi Shan wanted us to interview people from outside that are from different countries. We have to do interviews in English, and then transcribe them, then add subtitles to it and make it in to short film.

Continue:At the time we were during the register period of the “Dream Weaver” program Hua Fan University initiated. We thought that if we could use this work and make it into a project, so that it could help people who are from different countries to understand our Buddhist data. At the same time our classmate can also improve their English, so it will serve a double purpose. Besides presenting the work in an English movie, we also thought that since we are Buddhist monastis we thought that we would continue the work of the Buddha is to propagate the Dharma to other people. Therefore we thought of an innovative idea, we would also add some Buddhist Stories, Buddhist ‘Sayings’ and also some Buddhist Terminology as well as Stories of Wisdom and to let people know about Buddhism in many new ways, and also to utilize the Internet technology. Perhape this work would not be completely 100% perfect, but being both a Buddhist disciple and a student of the Buddhist Hua Fan University. We thought that this would be our little contributions to make provisional lives on earth worthwhile, and to live meaningfully with a mission life , so that Buddhism is worth transmiting, therefore this work is still in progress.
