Northern–Most Lighthouse
My wife and I had a three days trip to take a look at Ninety Mile Beach and the Northern-Most Lighthouse from 18-20th January this year.
On the first day , we drove about 6 hours to the Whatuwhiwhi Top 10 Holiday Park, we booked two nights there. It was a nice place, we had a public kitchen for cooking and hot water for showers.
The second day, we went to two beaches; the Karikari Beach and Matia Beach. They looked fantastic. The blue sky joins the blue sea, and there are many people swimming, surfing and fishing, but we just took a walk on the beach which we enjoyed too.
The third day, in the morning at 9 AM, we drove to the Northern-Most Point to see the lighthouse. It was a long way from the Holiday Park to the lighthouse.
I drove for about three hours. When we saw the Ninety Mile Beach and the lighthouse, it was worth it.
