同好BCL Diary有篇文章<給你的天線多一點空間 Part 5>提到天線種類,既然有同好討論,不才就寫篇我的天線使用心得,我並不是電子科班,就希望能拋磚引玉也藉此多學些知識。

因為以前曾從事航海儀器販售業務工作,所以對於船用無線機的裝置有點心得。船舶上因為空間限制,連帶天線的物理長度也會受到限制,以前的緊急通訊頻率500/2182KHz都是屬於MF頻段,導航設備中的無線電探向儀(DF) 、LORAN、OMEGA更是運作在MF與LF之間。理論上,就算半波長天線也得要有至少500-600公尺以上的物理長度才能諧振。實際上,沒有幾條船能拉到這種長度的天線,而且也不切實際。當然,某些潛艇為了接收VLF1mhz to 70ghz any type antenna通訊,屁股後面還是得拉一條特長的線當接收天線之用。

我們大部份同好的居住環境,也都跟船上一樣有空間限制。所以我在搭建天線時就比較偏好用長線天線(Random wire; Long wire ) ,最大理由是長度可以隨意而且不受空間限制,必要時還可以用水管或竹竿將其往上方纏繞。為了補足因為天線物理長度不足的情況,我會用天線調諧器(Antenna Tuner)來協助。

經過實際使用驗證,在接收10MHz1.8MHz的短波廣播,有天線調諧器輔助確實可以讓天線運作狀況更佳,而且音量響度提昇相當顯著(我的天線調諧器只能運作到1.8MHz) 。至於接收15MHz以上的廣播就不太需要用到天線調諧器,隨便接一條6-10公尺的電線就行了。(註.我用45m長的天線所得的測試結果,天線越短縮就越需要用調諧器輔助)

 

至於接法,如果是市售的短波收音機因為沒有N型接頭座,就將天線調諧器的N型接頭中心(接同軸電纜處)直接拉一條導線出來,直接纏繞或用鱷魚夾夾在伸縮天線上即可(天線無需拉長,但是要保持絕緣,不要碰觸其它物體) ,如果收音機有天線插座,直接接上即可或者不需要接線將收音機直接放在調諧器上面靠近電容附近也行。(2013-1-14驗證可行)

 

調整步驟

1.      調整收音機至想收聽的頻率,音量轉紐也固定不要再調整。

2.      先將可變電容的檔位歸零,然後選擇電感(Inductance)檔位,或調整鱷魚夾在線圈抽頭上的位置,直到音量最大聲。

3.      接下來微調可變電容,直到音量最大聲為止。

如果更換收聽頻率,上述調整步驟需要再重複。

 

天線調諧器可以自製,但是把玩收音機的同好不見得每個都是電機、電子專家,因此可以考慮購買市售的天線調諧器。MFJ-956 。 天線調諧器也並非萬能,天線還是有最低要求長度與無法調諧長度的限制。

至於接地端,能夠埋入土中或放水裏是最好的,如果像我一樣住在公寓,可以將接地端鎖在鋁窗的螺絲上(鋁門窗的陽極處理層要稍微刮除,以免傳導不良)鐵窗或是陽台女兒牆上的金屬欄杆都能運用作接地。(最好接地端能夠獨立,不要接在電源插座、瓦斯管線或其它電器裝備的接地以免發生意外事故)
