中文是一門博大精深的學問，造字也大致可以分為六種法則，較為常見也容易理解的一種，莫過於象形字了，最早的人們利用文字的線條或筆畫，將想要表達或描述的物體特徵，具體地畫出來，久而久之就成了中文字的一種。正因為如此，有許多文字的猜謎，就是從這樣的方式做聯想，其中就有一道有趣的題目，名為「山上有山」，大家猜得到是什麼字嗎？

「山上有山」這個題目在中國網路上經常被轉傳討論，甚至也被作為面試考驗受試者創意，或是腦筋急轉彎等。它的解法十分簡單，顧名思義就是文字裡面包含「山」的元素。

一開始，就有人回答「峰」字，或是「凹」與「凸」等字，雖然在部首上與外型上都有些類似，但並非正解。正確答案大致有兩字，分別為「出」與「岳」字。

為什麼呢？「出」字的外型，上下組成類似，剛好可以解釋成「兩座山，上下交疊」之意；至於「岳」字，除了外型與字義符合之外，也能將上半部的「丘」字視為「山丘」，變成兩座山交疊的意思，十分有創意。
