大乘修行者不可忘缺的品質

The second question I asked Dzongzar Khyentse Rinpoche was: "What are the methods for practitioners to do self-examination in order to know if one is really practicing Tantra teaching with genuine Mahayana teachinga as a correct base?"


    我問宗薩欽哲仁波切的第二個問題是:有什麼自我檢驗的方法,可以幫助行者檢視自己,有否以正確的大乘教法基礎在修持密乘教法?

Dzongzar Rinpoche gave a thought, with a very clear, bright and firm voice claimed the first answer: "BODHICITTA!"

That was like lightening in the dark, so powerful that it stunned about 280 people there!

Rinpoche continued to answer, it was a bit long, but the essence is as follow: 1, Bodhicitta, one has to see if onself is practicing Dharma with bodhicitta as the base. 2. Whether if one posseses the meditation of Theravadan shamatha, as well as Vipashyana and so on; in other words, when one practices Tantra, one has to have the basic practices of Hinayana and Mahayana. If not, then some people might only be using so call Tantra teaching to satify their own desire!"


    宗薩仁波切想了一下,以清晰、響亮、斬釘截鐵的口吻說出第一個答案:「菩提心!」

這三個字一說出來,猶如黑夜中的閃電一般震撼當場約280人!

仁波切繼續回答,內容有點長,重點如下:「一,菩提心,要隨時檢視自己是否以菩提心為基礎。二,是否具備『止』『觀』的禪修能力等等,換言之,修持密乘時,是要具備大小乘等基本修持的。如果沒有具足這些,某些人只是利用所謂的密乘教法在滿足自己欲望罷了!」
