公司辦活動、寫電郵

這週工作挺忙的，除此之外，公司的雜務事也不少：有人離職了、有人調到別的小鎮了、二月慶生會、佈置公司一角以迎接農曆新年、安排外出午餐餐會，今天（2/16）外面又特冷（華氏8度）、又將下太雪（預測是6至8吋厚）•••全聚到這一週了呀！

有兩位同事都叫Robert，其中一位請調到別的小鎮（Fredericksburg），他在該小鎮的鎮郊森林裡買了一大片地（6.8畝地），自行設計房子、再請建商來建，前前後後超過半年餘，終於快要搬新家了。Robert在公司待了29年多，我與他挺熟的，我工作再忙，也得義不容辭為他辦個惜別會。

Subject: Farewell lunch for Robert’s Relocation

All,

As you may have known that Robert (guess which one) is leaving us to Fredericksburg (where he will be living in the woods with squirrels, deer, bear, etc. J), but luckily he is still within GEICO/IT (so we can still bother him easily).  His last date at the Tower Oaks is uncertain (any day soon) as it is totally depended on his builder/mover/weather.

Date: 2/19/2015 (Yeah!!  It’s the day of Chinese New Year, even though Robert is not a Chinese but he uses plenty of items that are made in China. J)
