        Liquid Glycerin 在藥局或超市大多可以買到

soap 用的是洗澡的香皂 Yardley English Lavender, 在Target或Walmart買約US$1, 有次Target剛好在特價$0.50, 我買了十幾塊.... 不貴且沒有過期之慮, 慢慢用也不會壞.

另外, 不論做手工液體皂或洗衣精, 最好都要有一台電動攪拌器(果汁機也可以, 但比較麻煩). 在超市可以找到一台 $ 5 的就可以了.

2 Tablespoons of Liquid Glycerin
1條 - 8 oz bar of soap
1 gallon of water (可以用自來水, 但據說用蒸餾水*做出來的液體皂效果比較好)

喜歡香一點的可以自己加幾滴精油進去.

Step 1:

把水和肥皂絲放入一個大鍋子. Fill a pot with 1 gallon of distilled water and add the soap shavings.

Step 3:

加入2湯匙的 liquid glycerin(和精油), 用中火加熱. 慢慢攪拌, 把肥皂絲通通熔化在水裡.  Add 2 Tablespoons of liquid glycerin and turn the heat to medium/high and stir until the soap dissolves.

Step 4:
把肥皂水放涼至少12小時, 我直接把肥皂水整鍋放在陽台過夜. Leave it alone to cool for at least 10-12 hours. It begins to cloud up after 3-4 hours.

Step 5:
必要時, 可用電動攪拌器把結塊的肥皂打均後再裝小瓶. 剩下的肥皂則用大瓶子裝起來, 日後可以用. 如果你是買蒸餾水, 可用蒸餾水的瓶子裝即可. If the soap is harder than it should be you can take some beaters and blend it while adding just a little bit of water until the consistency is more like liquid soap.

我老公說這個液體皂比較沒泡泡, 但其實是手比較髒或者沒先用水把手沾濕.  手比較髒時, 洗第一次會比較沒泡泡, 再洗一次時就會有很多細緻的泡泡出現了.  我覺得洗起來的效果還不錯. 沖水時不用沖太久就會很乾淨了.
