這是1986年的電影捍衛戰士"Top Gun"的主題曲，由Kenny Loggins演唱，是一首非常契合這部電影的歌曲，曾經，Corey Hart 和REO Speed Wagon的主唱Kevin Cronin都是可能的歌曲演唱者，但他們都婉拒了這個邀請，最後由Kenny Loggins擔任演唱。
雄渾而強烈的快節奏樂聲，非常貼切地演繹著戰機的凌雲氣勢，Kenny Loggins豪邁而高亢的歌聲，唱出了英勇戰士無所畏懼的壯闊胸懷。搭配著戰機激速飛行的精彩片段，每每引人熱血沸騰而欲罷不能。
雖然又推出了續集，但我還是喜歡第一集的這首歌，還有片尾曲Cheap Trick 所唱的"Mighty Wings"。
