【His Holiness Sheng-Yen Lu's Fan's Testimony】 Chen Ya-Fen speaks about the miracle of His Holiness’s blessing on her son’s Tourette Syndrome.

The supreme honorable Grand Master's vow to not forsake any sentinel beings are indeed astonishing and touches the heart of his disciples. In the past, disciples have been urged to protect and uphold the well being of our Living Buddha’s physical body. Hence, dharma brother Jia, fellow disciples and I, are feeling uneasy on the increasing number of disciples seeking Grand Master’s blessing after the Puja ceremony. This also echoes dharma brother Fa Wen’s sentiment.

About a year ago, my youngest son, Lotus Yan-Yu (Chen Yan-Yu) started showing symptoms of Tourette Syndrome. His body spasm involuntarily, and this had made him sensitive as to how people might view him. After being diagnosed and reviewed by doctors, I was told that there is no effective treatment for such syndrome. As his parent, it was really painful and disheartening to hear.

Since there are no known effective treatments in modern medical science for this syndrome, we can only pin our hope on Grand Master and Buddha. During this period, I made a vow to complete 2000 recitals of the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra within a month or so. We also stayed behind after Puja ceremony to have Grand Master bestowing his blessing on my son, hoping that it will help improved my son’s condition.

Each time that Grand Master bestow blessing on my son, he will always take a longer time before recovering his hand from my son’s head, Grandmaster will also use his brow chakra to bless on my son’s brow chakra. I almost teared when I saw this, and I express great gratitude towards Grand Master deep inside my heart. Indeed, after doing this for 3 consecutive times, my son was showing improvement on his condition, now all that’s left is tiny spasm that is neither visible nor detectable.

This is the compassion of Grand Master and his vow to not forsake any sentinel beings. Therefore Grand Master is the reliance of all living beings. I think, that among those who stayed behind after the Puja ceremony to receive blessings from Grand Master do so out of greed, but there are also many, whom are sickly or ill. Nonetheless, there is no way to be selective and filter those who truly need help. Hence, the number of participants for such activities is increasing.

Each time after we received blessing, Grandmaster will get up and move on, and he will just kept going, doing the same for many others, along a long winding queue of people ahead of him. I am deeply touched by Grand Master’s compassion but I also felt a sense of guilt, as we have to make our beloved Grand Master to work so hard just for us. Grand Master’s work has been arched deep inside our heart.

We are so blessed to have a such a supreme honor and great compassionate Grand Master, we ought to treasure and cherish our Grandmaster.

無上尊貴的師尊守護「不捨一個眾生」的誓願，這樣的身教真的讓弟子感動讚嘆。以往眾同門呼籲要善守護佛的色身，不要讓師尊過於疲累，因此我跟家師兄及眾師兄姐對於法會後越來越多的摸頂人潮也深覺不妥，與發文師兄感想同一般。

及至約一年前，小兒子 蓮花彥宇（陳彥宇）出現類似「妥瑞症」的病徵，肢體出現不自主的頻繁抽動，兒子懼於他人的異樣眼光，但看過醫生後都表示此症無積極的治療方法，身為父母心中萬般的不捨及痛苦。

現代醫療尚無法提供有效的治療唯有轉求師尊及佛菩薩，當時我發願在一個多月內持誦完高王經二千遍，並在法會後留下祈求經由師尊慈悲摸頂，能減輕兒子的病徵。

師尊每回摸頂加持小兒時，總是將手放在兒子頂上久久並用自己的天心加持兒子的天心，這時身為弟子的我眼眶泛紅，心中感激尊貴的師佛久久，如此連續三次，兒子的病徵果然漸漸趨緩，現只剩下微小不易被人察覺的動作。

這是師尊「不捨一個眾生」的慈悲，是眾生的大依怙主，我想法會後求恩師加持人潮中不乏有貪被摩頂的偏頗心態，但也有許多患病的同門及體弱的老人家，這樣的活動又無法一一篩選，故而人潮就越聚越多了……。

然而，被師尊摩完頂起身後，看著師尊繼續在長長的人龍中走下去，我心中感動師尊的慈悲亦有不捨及慚愧，恩師普渡慈航之身影更已經深深的印在心中。
這樣不可多得的無上尊貴、慈悲的師父，更要好好珍惜了。
