大家新年好，今天已是年初四了，記得去年此時芭芭辣剛經姨婆帶進 udn 部落格家族,常問她在部落格上寫什麼好呢？姨婆說妳在美國小學教書，可以由此窗口切入，芭芭辣就這麼在城邦玩了一年，雖然文筆笨拙認識的網友也不多, 但還是樂此不疲。
每一年學校過中國年我都特別 promote (推行)此 celebration，去年做的比較大，也在網上記載過，今年學校是怎麼慶祝的呢？
1. 動用我班上三年級小朋友裝了全校六百多個紅包準備分發給二十六個班級，一人才得一分錢，(校長的 budget 有限) 不過本人叫我學生排隊領綠鈔票(US$1/per student)，從來都是發作業，這次發錢自己都笑出來了。
2. 芭芭辣一個月來如乞丐般似的到處收集寄包裹用的 bubble sheet，(要買可特貴，一小張 US$3.84) )剪發給全校學生，年初二是禮拜五大家比較 relax ，選這天全校來個中國年大遊行，在藍天白雲下全校師生同時一齊 squeeze that piece of bubble sheet (壓破那包裹球紙) 效果竟然與放砲竹一樣啪啪響，很是成功。
3. 今年又請了去年的高中越南學生來舞龍舞獅，當天早上又派用我班上的蝦兵海將拿著大信封去每班老師那化緣，結果替這八個表演者籌到一百五十塊。
最後要特別感謝一位助教剪了很多紙燈及老鼠佈滿學校走廊，What a New Year's Day! 在此芭芭辣祝各位網友好事及鈔票"鼠"也"鼠"不完！

I just took my "third" CBEST test last Saturday, so finally I have some free time to visit your website.
The ways you celebrate our Chinese New Year are so creative!
This is my seventh year to have my new year in the U.S and I also got a red envelope this year.
I went to a private school in Palo Alto to substitute on the first day of the Lunar Calendar and a kid run to me and gave me one right when I stepped into the classroom.I was so touched and surprised and had a good mood all the day!
Also, you remind me, again, that everything is possible and useful to be teaching materials.
The bubble sheet? I will remember to keep them next time when I received a parcel.

Long time no contact. Congratulations that you have started substituting. Guess what? Today I went through a whole day training called "Step Up to Write". It is just perfect for kids as well as myself. (How to improve our writing?)I thought of you while I sat in the class. We will have two more trainings. Give me your email address again.
