What is a one off product?
One off production is the manufacture of a single product/item. This can include large scale projects, such as a bridge, ship, stadium, multi- storey building or tower, Other examples of one offs are - specialist jewellery, made to measure clothing, bespoke furniture and many more.
Is 4 inch wall enough?
A 4.5-inch thick brick wall is provided for partition walls only and should not be more than 7 feet in height. Therefore I recommend that all the walls should be at least 9 inch thick. 4.5-inch thick walls are not structurally safe if they are beyond 7 feet in height or carry some imposed load.
Is 15% infill enough?
For most “standard” prints that don't need to be super strong, we suggest using an infill density of 15-50%. This density percentage keeps print time low, conserves material, and provides okay strength. Functional prints need to be strong.
How many zones are in injection molding?
The temperature profile in the three zones is dependent on the plastic type. The first zone is called the feed zone. The second zone is called the compaction zone. The third zone is called the metering zone.
Is vacuum forming cheaper than injection molding?
Within this spectrum, thermoforming is cheaper than injection molding per part produced when comparing all costs of materials and tooling. The process of thermoforming takes nearly half the time that injection molding takes.
What is CpK in molding?
Injection molding process capability is measured in a variety of ways, using numerous acronyms. The most common ones are Cp and CpK (which are process capability measurements) and Pp and PpK (which are process performance measurements).
What infill uses the least amount of filament?
These are the best infill patterns for certain priorities: Print speed: Zig-zag, Lines, Lightning. Least amount of filament: Lightning.
What is plasticizing effect of water?
The plasticizing effect can be described in terms of a lowering of the fracture strength, elastic modulus, and viscosity of the biopolymer–water mixtures with an increase in plasticizer content.
What is feed zone in injection molding?
The feed zone is typically 50% of the length of the screw for injection molding (BASF Screw Designs 2013). Special low-shear screws are needed for PVC and nylon materials. The compaction zone has an increasing screw diameter from the small diameter in the feed zone to the larger diameter in the metering zone.
How can you tell the difference between caput and Subgaleal?
The subgaleal space is large, and the fluid collection has the potential to extend behind the orbits and back on the neck as well. In comparison to the edema found in caput succedaneum, both will cross midline as the fluid collection is above the cranial suture lines in both cases.
