Father Smith was saying his good-byes to the parishioners after his Sunday morning service when Mary Clancey came up to him in tears. "What's bothering you, dear ?" asked Father Smith.

"Oh, father, I've got terrible news." Replied Mary. "My husband passed away last night."

"Oh, Mary!" said the father. "That's terrible. Did he have any last requests?"

神父說：「瑪麗，真是太不幸了。他有什麼遺願嗎？」

"He said, 'Please, Mary, put down the gun.'"
