但是林書豪本季狀況不穩定，前一場作客巫師，板凳上場22分鐘、6投盡墨，只得1分。

綠衫軍是聯盟本季防守排名前段班球隊，平均每場只讓對手得到102分、命中率壓低在4成41。後場大鎖布萊德利(Avery Bradley)指出林書豪掌握節奏，「他打法積極、引導黃蜂進攻，這晚證明他是個優秀的球員。」

黃蜂總教練克里佛(Steve Clifford)稱讚林書豪優異演出，「他在攻守兩端表現太棒了，特別是第二節帶動我們球隊防守。」黃蜂獲勝後，戰績47勝34負，位居東區第六。
