昨日簡易英文練習討論：昨天介紹的單字 costume，除了名詞外，還能當動詞用，指「為……穿著（某物）」。也能當形容詞，指「服裝的」。

　　今天介紹秋天的象徵之一——楓。楓的英文為 maple，秋季時落下的紅色楓葉常吸引不少遊客，但對掃落葉的來說，可能就有點辛苦了。maple 可指「楓樹」，也可指「楓木」。楓糖則叫作 maple syrup，syrup 指「糖漿」，適量加在紅茶、奶茶、latte 裡通常能讓飲料更好喝。

　　玉米糖漿的英文則是 corn syrup，corn 是「玉米」。各種糖漿多可用類似的方法表達。
