This year marks a triple milestone for WFWP as we not only celebrate its 30th Anniversary since its founding on April 10, 1992 in Seoul, Korea, but we also celebrate the 25th year of its NGO in General Consultative Status at the UN, and the 10th Anniversary of the Global Women’s Peace Network, a project of WFWP International.Our deepest gratitude goes to our Co-founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the Mother of Peace, who has been guiding WFWP through her shining example as a women Peace leader, also known as the Mother of Peace.
On October 22, we will honor the past, hear stories from elders who laid the foundation here in the United States, and recognize women who contributed over the years to bring WFWP USA to this point.

Highlights will be a special greeting from our International Sr. Vice President, Dr. Sun Jin Moon, and the conferring of the Global Women Peace Ambassador Award.
