Tuesday, October 6 - North American Cheonbo Victory Celebration

Join the TribeNet call tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. EST to honor the 308 North American couples being inducted into the Cheonbo Won. Hosted by Dr. Kim and Rev. Dunkley, with a special greeting from Sun Jin Nim. (Read the letter below for more details.)

All American families are invited to watch the induction ceremony centered on True Mother of the Cheonbo couples worldwide. Broadcast time and link coming soon.

Cheonbo Couples to be Honored During TribeNet Call Tomorrow

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As you probably know, the CheonBo Festival will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 10am in Korea, which is Friday, October 9, 2020, at 9pm EST. This is one of the main events as part of the commemorating events for the 8th Anniversary of True Father’s Holy Ascension and the 60th Anniversary of True Parents’ Holy Wedding.

Heavenly Parent and True Parents have been waiting for this day when they can induct Blessed Families who have completed their Heavenly Tribal Messiah mission into the CheonBo Won and bestow on them the title CheonBo Families, meaning Heavenly Treasure.

This Friday, we will celebrate this ceremony centered on True Mother with the 308 families from North America who are the first to receive this honor.

To congratulate and celebrate with them, we invite all our brothers and sisters nationwide to join a special CheonBo Victory Celebration during the TribeNet weekly call, on Tuesday, October 6, at 9pm EST.

This celebration will be hosted by Rev. Demian Dunkley, President of FFWPU USA, and will feature a special greeting from Sun Jin Nim’s couple and a special message from Dr. Ki Hoon Kim. We especially want to congratulate and celebrate our American CheonBo families, and we would like to share this moment with all of our brothers and sisters as we support and honor the first wave of victorious Tribal Messiahs.

CARP in the Capital

CARP members kicking off outreach in the nations capital Adelina Lazar/FFWPU-USA

A new Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) chapter was just launched in the nation’s capital, where Unificationists in the Washington, DC area—including Maryland and Virginia—have hit the ground running with a slew of outreach projects.

“There is a providential need for CARP,” said Jinil Fleischman, a member of the national CARP team and former president of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), chapter.

A faith-based, campus-driven organization, CARP members, who are typically college students themselves, share the core teachings of the Unification movement among their peers and extended social networks. They also initiate service projects, as well as interfaith and cross-cultural events, to broaden and strengthen community relations.

“The new CARP members are doing very well,” said Adelina Lazar, a program staffer of Generation Peace Academy (GPA), which is a post high school program that often trickles members to CARP once they pursue higher education. “There is more clarity moving forward with the new DC chapter and it was really moving to see the CARP members take initiative in creating a vision and direction for this chapter.”
