Term explanation: 6% x 5 = 30%

0.     Plot: In a literary work, film, story or other narrative, the plot is the sequence of events where each affects the next one through the principle of cause-and-effect. “Freytag’s pyramid,” a model based upon Aristotle’s theory of tragedy, divides a drama into five parts, and provides function of each part. They are exposition, complication, climax, calling action, and resolution. Plot is similar in meaning to the term storyline. “Araby” by James Joyce, for example, is a story traces a boy’s infatuation with his friend’s sister. The climax can be relocated at the scene when the boy’s adoration is extinguished at last.
