In Taiwanese expression, people used to say - married a chicken then follow that chicken(or dog).

Is this saying a complete nonsense?

If we look at the current probably most ridiculous corruption scandal happening in the first family of Taiwan, this saying seems very alive, though.

Wife asked me why A-bien has not stopped his wife doing this stupid thing which left so many evidences in so many people´s hands and for so little money(in terms of a first lady).

I said these days would a wife listen to a husband?

I ask her do you listen to and follow my opinions?

She said " Do you?!"

If I want to start a big fight with my wife, this is a very good beginning.

No, not this time, I don´t want to be hurt by simply talking about the stupid A-bien family where now is chicken flying and dog jumping!

I said calmly these day even kids don´t want to listen to parents , do they?

Great! a domestic war ceased!

Family today has no chicken neither dog, only two equally INTELLIGENT adults asking
"listen to me"!

How can this really work smoothly in a family facing so many challenges day to day?

Many keep asking why A-bien can´t .......
