後記：

在1920中期，我的祖父來到台灣， 當時叫做”福爾摩沙”。 他以醫療幫助受苦的窮人。 1949，我的父親也繼續祖父的腳步， 用醫術醫治每個人， 不論社會上地位高低，沒有歧視， 人人平等， 上至當時總統， 下至窮困的人。

在台灣已待了大半輩子的我， 愛上這個國家。 是這裡的可愛又願意助人的人們使台灣成為世上最友善國家之一。我寫這首歌的目的是要讓世人認識台灣美麗的人。
