I had been looking forward to the trip to Taiwan since when the Taiwan national team won the Gold Medal in Doha on December 7th last year. After that glorious excitement, I have been more interested in the Taiwanese players and kept supporting them.

I am often asked "What makes you love the Taiwanese players so much?" It is not easy to explain it in a word but because they have something that I have never had before.

Another reason is that they have wonderful supporters who are so passionate and praise the players as a national hero. I really agree with the STADEO.TV reporter, who always introduced Chen Chin Feng as 'The national treasure' during the World Cup games.

I was truly touched to hear the Taiwanese people roaring to cheer their players with the powerful chanting with drums and horns. The huge national flag hanged over from the upper stand looked so proud and encouraging the players so much. I went to ballpark many times but I have never seen such an enthusiastic cheering. If I heard such powerful support when at bat to play for my own country, I would be so touched and happy. And, that would allow my potential power to awaken.

I really thank all the people I met in Taichung. Their warmest kindness made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I do hope and believe the Taiwan national team will smile in March. On the crowded commuting train in Tokyo, now I feel I left my heart in Taiwan.
