Brake system security closely related to drivers driving safety. Once upon a time, Smith Dave wanted to drive his car to work in the morning as usual, but found vehicle battery voltage out of storage. Because he wanted to have a meeting in an hour, so he quickly took out his jump starter and start to the car to work, and after meeting, he called repair shop to replace his car a battery.
The other case is that MR. Green, my neighborhood, on his way home and wanted to stop half way to buy some dairy, but found no work on brake system. Finally, he drove to a tree and hurt himself and car a lot.
Two cases told us that brake system security is serious in our drivers driving safety, but it is not meaning driving safety is nothing to do with battery faults. All in all, brake system security is more urgent and should be have a carefully checked and even should avoid the following three situations:
1. Brake pedal goes too far down to stop.
If you have found your brake system has this problem, please have an inspection and repairs on them: brake fluid level, contaminated brake fluid, brake pad and brake power boost unit.
2. Too firm on brake pedal
When you feel too hard to step on pedal, it might be vacuum problems and brake line obstruction. It is time to do repair on them as soon as possible.
3. No pressure to let brake pedal goes to floor.
In this case, brake fluid should be checked first to see whether it is low level or with air in it; just have add or replace with new one. Besides, master cylinder should be replaced if it is bad.
Therefore, apart from above brake system problems should be avoided, you could also have your brake system detected with tpms tool, normally works great and could ensure your security. Of course, you should not ignore other vehicles regular services, like fluid level check, change, tire wear, and of course vehicle interior environment protection and disinfection.
