根據《每日星報》報導,這顆巨鑽並非贗品,而是貨真價實的真鑽石,嵌在一個特製的透明展示櫃中,吸引無數路人駐足觀望。不過Netflix也「貼心」地提醒大家,整個裝置正在全天候監控,現場設有監視系統以及兩名保全人員駐守。Netflix在聲明中調侃:「誰會大膽到在倫敦最熱鬧的街道上,去偷一顆巨型鑽石呢?」,讓外媒笑稱「Netflix提供犯罪大師竊取9克拉真鑽的機會」。
