Gorban is a Russian Born Iseraeli artist. His previous session of works were focus on windows. This art piece is very impressive. Gorban's arts usually have some good meanings. The depth of the forest, especially green, is something that he doesn't get to see in Russian, same as the butterfly, with the freedom to decide whether it wants to fly out or stay, in front of the open window. That colorful marble, the only strong color, strongly contrast to the rest of the painting, must mean something else. The color, the shape? I don't know what it means but it is just gives me that refreshing feelings.

work at the distinguished Hermitage Museum. His paintings were
hung adjacent to artists such as Kandinsky, Dali, Rubilov and Andre.
Gorban's use of light and shadow in his still life paintings gives them
a romantic and timeless quality.
