在年初 Google 大神 Jeff Dean 發表長文展望 2022 年之後的機器學習發展方向，值得研讀，畢竟 Google 的 AI 專案領先全球，他提出五個發展方向，算是面面俱到，相當平穩展現出 :

· Trend 1: More Capable, General-Purpose ML Models
無論是語言和影像的通用模型已經陸續誕生，transformer 模型取得相當好的成績

· Trend 2: Continued Efficiency Improvements for ML
機器學習的軟硬體架構也有長足進步，將會持續下去

· Trend 3: ML Is Becoming More Personally and Communally Beneficial
藉由軟硬體的支援，手機 AI 應用越來越普遍，同時在隱私和聯邦學習上會有較多進展

· Trend 4: Growing Benefits of ML in Science, Health and Sustainability
Google 在氣象，醫學和遊戲等方面得到不少好處

· Trend 5: Deeper and Broader Understanding of ML
在推薦系統，上下文翻譯，數據集收集和整理，聯邦學習等方面會持續發展
