Pokemon GO昨（六）日在台灣開放後隨即引發熱潮，為避免民眾邊走邊玩造成的危險，包含台鐵、高鐵及機場都發表聲明，禁止民眾在特定區域玩Pokemon GO；交通部台鐵局更將於下周聯繫遊戲軟體發行公司，避免在場站、車廂內、鐵路沿線及平交道上設置寶可夢或驛站，以免造成危險。

台鐵局為避免民眾邊走邊玩引發跌落月台、與他人碰撞或侵入路線被撞等危險，站在為維護旅客自身與周邊旅客安全立場，即日起禁止民眾車站付費區內、平交道、鐵路沿線等地點使用，請旅客多多配合。台鐵局運務處營業科長陳裕謀表示，目前在站區內禁止使Pokemon GO措施，將先採勸導方式，如民眾仍不配合會請鐵路警察協助處理。

高鐵公司同樣擔心乘客因玩Pokemon GO，可能引發相關安全問題，呼籲旅客避免在月台、車站或列車上邊走邊玩，以免跌落軌道或與發生碰撞、跌倒意外。高鐵公司也將通令車站同仁、列車服勤員及保全人員，若發現旅客於候車時跨越警戒黃線，或邊走邊使用手機，將提醒勸導，以維護營運安全。

民航局也於各航空站貼出公告表示，為維護機場地面作業安全，禁止在機場航廈內管制區、停機坪使用Pokemon GO，不過由於這項措施目前尚無相關罰則，只能呼籲民眾多多配合。
