美國一名法官廿二日下令國務院盡快審查和公布聯邦調查局（ＦＢＩ）在調查希拉蕊．柯林頓的電郵案時找到的近一萬五千封電郵，這些是希拉蕊去青年優惠房屋貸款 年未主動交給國務院的電郵。紐約時報指出，這批電郵可能在十一月八日總統大選投票前幾周公布，成為影響選舉的「十月驚奇」。

法官博斯柏格已排定九月廿三日舉行聽證會，決定公布電郵的最後期限，根據可能的時間表，最快在十月公布。

在此同時，保守派監督團體「司法觀察」公布希拉蕊最親近的幕僚阿貝汀的幾百封電郵，再度暴露在希拉蕊擔任國務卿期間，「柯林頓基金會」與國務院之間的特殊關係。

華盛頓郵報報導，電郵內容包括柯林頓基金會的大金主、一家運動公司高層希望幫一名有犯罪前科的英國足球員取得赴美簽證，這家公司曾付給前總統柯林頓幾百萬美元顧問費。電郵也透露巴林王儲想與希拉蕊會面，巴林政府曾捐給柯林頓基金會五萬多美元。

另外，經常出席柯林頓基金會活動的指數房貸 Ｕ２合唱團主唱波諾希望高層協助在演唱會上與國際太空站連線。

華郵指出，公布的電郵顯示，這類案例的金主未必能如願以償，特別是見面以外的要求。但阿貝汀七百二十五頁的電郵往返顯示，柯林頓夫婦的國際友人和金主能接觸到希拉蕊國務卿和她的親信幕僚。

另據媒體報導，希拉蕊告訴聯邦調查局，她是在前國務卿鮑爾建議下使用個人電子郵件帳號，鮑爾廿日駁斥她的說法。

前總統小布希的國務卿鮑爾告訴「時人雜誌」，的確曾就個人處理電郵的做法寄給希拉蕊一份備忘錄，但她在任職國務卿期間早已選擇使用個人電郵而非公務電郵帳號。鮑爾告訴時人雜誌：「她的陣營想歸罪於我。但真相是，在我寄備忘錄跟她說我自己的做法之前，她已用了（個人伺服器）一年。」更多udn報導：日最可愛學生選拔 她用這招奪后冠·電影爆紅 正妹超模夜店耍大牌？
