於朋友訂婚儀式時, 聽到這首熟悉的曲子 Flying Free / 自由飛翔-------
曾經一次，十七歲的女孩和幾位朋友來家中一起聚會。餐後大家大方的輪流表演，而她以模糊般的旋律彈奏這首曲子。
訴說著她五年級時參加合唱團所唱過的歌曲，以及和朋友在一起演唱的快樂回憶。了解她得面對那時父母離異的難處，還有在美國申請大學帶來的壓力，那晚心裡特別的不捨與感動------
這首比賽的曲子，她一直好喜歡， 雖然當天沒有提到比賽結果，但是那歌詞卻讓她不斷以發亮的眼神分享著那還在的擁有。
因著許多詞曲有過的畫面，也會讓人不斷串連起某些情感的片段------
在一處屬於我的地方，可以依立在那海邊。能超越所知道的，夢想著可以自由。
如鳥兒躍上枝頭，在微風中輕柔滑翔。我盼望就如那生命，飛翔而沒有煩憂。
但是人生並非一面遙遠的天空，會沒有雲沒有雨。
而我未曾希望，能沒有痛苦的乘旅。時光倐地在它路途，我們都太快的，失去了今日。我不會等待蔚藍的天空，或是夢想太久讓生命已遠 。
因此，生命是我得吟唱的歌，我得分享這份愛的禮物。
當我看見，因此帶來的喜悅，我的靈性揚騰於天。像那空中鳥兒，生命已教導我如何去飛翔。
只因， 如今了解自己，而我心正在 自由飛翔 !

小孩都希望脫離父母的管束，自由飛翔。我們做父母的也要放下心讓他們發展。
