10日凌晨約35分許，柯文哲車隊進入市區，數百名年輕朋友蜂擁到飯店門口熱情迎接，柯文哲直說「累了、累得說不出話來」。媒體再三詢問那裡最累？他說「當然屁股最痛」。他說到台南時，時速還有30公里，到高雄就不行了、真的累了。
累了，柯文哲仍勉強擠出笑容，並和車友合照、喊口號，「北高雙城計畫」挑戰成功。
立委許智傑、前市府副市長劉世芳也到飯店門口迎接柯文哲。劉世芳很肯定柯文哲是世大運最佳的代言人，也鼓勵他參加世大運自由車競賽。
凌晨飯店門口就有很多粉絲陸續湧現，多是來為柯文哲加油打氣，不少人是熱愛自行車的車友，更多的人說是來一睹柯文哲的風采；還有一家3口由父母帶著孩子說是來看這位「非典型的政治人物」。
熱情的民眾擠滿飯店門口，人手一支手機、相機搶拍柯文哲，民眾頻顪喊「柯市長讚啦」。
柯文哲直說累了，已無力回答媒體的話。
