1.Reverence(n.):great respect and admiration for someone or something

EX:The old queen was held in great reverence.

2.Versatile(a.):someone who is versatile has many different skills

EX:The potato is an extremely versatile vegetable.

3.Amateurs(n.):an amateur from Old French and ultimately from Latin amatorem nom

EX:The young politician is an amateur at manipulating public opinion.

4.Adversary(n.):a country or person you are fighting or competing against

EX:The once friendly countries became adversaries in the war.

5.Hostility(n.):hostility is a form of angry internal rejection or denial in psychology. It is a part of personal construct psychology, developed by George Kelly. In everyday speech it is more commonly used as a synonym for anger and aggression

EX:We had no hostility toward the new neighbor.

6.Indecisive(a.):unable to make clear decisions or choices

EX:A weak and indecisive leader.

7.Precarious(a.):a precarious situation or state is one which may very easily or quickly become worse

EX:Her health remained precarious, despite the treatment.

8.Transaxtion(n.):a transaction is an agreement, communication, or movement carried out between separate entities or objects, often involving the exchange of items of value, such as information, goods, services, and money. It is still a transaction if you exchange the goods at one time, and the money at another. This is known as a two part transaction, part one is giving the money, part two is receiving the goods

EX:He attends to the transaction of important business himself.

9.Tribute(n.):atribute is wealth, often in kind, that one party gives to another as a sign of respect or, as was often the case in historical contexts, of submission or allegiance. Various ancient states, which could be called suzerains, exacted tribute from areas they had conquered or threatened to conquer

EX:Many conquered nations had to pay tribute to the rulers of ancient Rome.

10.Formidable(a.):very powerful or impressive, and often frightening

EX:A formidable prospect lies ahead of him.

11.Oligarchy(n.):oligarchy is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, corporate, or military control. Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who pass their influence from one generation to the next

EX:Eventually oligarchy took over from democracy.

12.Stranglehold(n.):a chokehold or choke is a general term for grappling hold that critically reduces or prevents either air or blood from passing through the neck of an opponent. The restriction may be of one or both and depends on the hold used and the reaction of the victim

EX:Just a few firms have a stranglehold on the market for this software.

13.Allegiance(n.):an allegiance is a duty of fidelity said to be owed by a subject or a citizen to his or her state or sovereign

EX:He is trying to win the allegiance of the masses.

14.Outpost(n.):a group of buildings in a place far from cities or towns, usually established as a military camp or a place for trade

EX:They established the first outposts and settlements.

15.Rigid(a.):rigid methods, systems etc are very strict and difficult to change

EX:Rigid and authoritarian methods of education.

16.Morality(n.):morality is the differentiation among intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are good and bad. A moral code is a system of morality and a moral is any one practice or teaching within a moral code

EX:He is a man of strict morality.

17.Aristocratic(a.):belonging to or typical of the aristocracy

EX:He had an aristocratic bearing.

18.Arbitrary(a.):based on individual discretion or judgment; not based on any objective distinction, perhaps even made at random

EX:The decision to use 18 years as the legal age of adulthood was arbitrary, as both age 17 and 19 were reasonable alternatives.

19.Sublime(a.):something that is sublime is so good or beautiful that it affects you deeply

EX:Her songs are a sublime fusion of pop and Brazilian music.

20.Chasm(n.):a very deep space between two areas of rock or ice, especially one that is dangerous

EX:A rope bridge across the chasm.

21.Synthesis(n.):in general, the noun synthesis refers to a combination of two or more entities that together form something new. The corresponding verb, to synthesize, means to make or form a synthesis

EX:A synthesis of Eastern and Western philosophical ideas.

22.Implicit(a.):suggested or understood without being stated directly

EX:Her words contained an implicit threat.

23.Incidentally(adv.):used to add more information to what you have just said, or to introduce a new subject that you have just thought of

EX:The wine, incidentally, goes very well with a mature cheese.

24.Subsequent(a.):following in time; coming or being after something else at any time, indefinitely

EX:Growth was dampened by a softening of the global economy in 2001, but picked up in the subsequent years due to strong growth in China.

25.Interfere(v.):to get involved or involve oneself, causing disturbance

EX:I always try not to interfere with other people’s personal affairs.
