現在我們一般人教導小朋友，都是怎樣？我要給他補數學、補英語、學鋼琴、跳芭蕾舞，教小朋友千百「藝」化身，教出很多才藝。以前讀書不用花很多錢，現在是要用錢堆起來，才可以塑造一個博士、碩士，然後送到外國留學。送到美國，然後呢？兩個老的就在家裡等待孩子回來。當你要斷氣的那一剎那，可能就見不到你的美國小孩喔！

Nowadays many peoples force their kids to learn math, English,

piano, ballet, and so on.

They spend a lot of money pushing their kids to become

extremely “versatile” and pursue a master’s or doctor’s degree.

They even send their kids far away abroad for advanced studies.

And they themselves are often left alone at home.
